How to Join PHMOTT

To become a member of PHMOTT, you must be the parent or guardian of multiple birth children. Our club is non-denominational and non-profit. We welcome all families of multiple birth children. Dues are $30 per year payable in June. A three month trial membership is available.
Make checks payable to PHMOTT. Your check can be dropped off at any meeting or mailed to our treasurer:

Membership includes National and State dues, NOMOTC Notebook newsletter, all club activities and our monthly newsletter, Reflections, which is provided electronically.
Current club members live in the following areas: Escondido, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Penasquitos, Ramona, Scripps Ranch and Carmel Mountain.

Chairmoms

The 2007-2008 Chairmoms are:
  • Ways & Means: Vacant - Acts as the primary POC for the annual Installation and Silent Auction Fundraising event. This entails requesting donations from sponsors, tracking all donations, assisting with the organization and planning of the event, and sending all sponsors thank you letters upon completion.
  • Publicity: Rene Carmichael - Handles all advertising and club promotions.
  • Hospitality/Social: Vacant - Assists the 1st VP of Programs with the organization and planning of club events.
  • Philanthropic: Elizabeth Kerr - Works directly with the BOD to determine the philanthropic events the club will participate in each year.
  • Scrapbook/Camera: Ann Leslie - Take pictures at club events and organize the pictures into a club scrapbook.
  • Sunshine: Sara Alsop - Sends members cards for special occasions on behalf of the club and coordinates assistance (such as providing meals) to families that have just brought their twins home.
  • Secret Pal/Gift Exchange: Angela Caires - Handles the enrollment and assignment of the Secret Pal program.
  • Library: Angela Caires - Brings the club's library of children's books to each general meeting so that members can opt to trade books in the library for children's books that they no longer have use for.
  • Editor/Publisher: Kris Coughlin - Develops and publishes the club's monthly newsletter as well as tracks all newsletter advertisements.
  • State Representative: Lori Martin - Acts as liaison between the club and the Southern California Mothers of Twins Clubs
  • National Representative/Research: Lori Martin - Acts as liaison between the club and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs
